Haryana Election Exit Poll Results 2024: Key Highlights

Voting for Haryana’s 90 Assembly seats has concluded as of October 5, with a voter turnout of 61% by 5 p.m. The Mewat region saw the highest turnout at 68.28%, while Gurugram recorded the lowest at 49.97%. Now, all eyes are on the exit polls to see if the BJP can secure a third consecutive term or if Congress and AAP can challenge their dominance.

With 1,031 candidates in the race and 2.03 crore voters participating, the competition is fierce. Key figures like current Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Bhupinder Singh Hooda from Congress, and athlete-turned-politician Vinesh Phogat are in the spotlight. BJP leader Manohar Lal Khattar is optimistic about winning 50 seats, while Congress leader Deepender Hooda questioned their confidence, citing past results.

The main parties contesting include BJP, Congress, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and alliances like INLD-BSP and JJP-Azad Samaj Party. Security has been tightened, and counting of votes will begin at 8 a.m. on October 8. Political agents and officials will arrive at counting centers early in the morning to prepare for the results.

Will BJP maintain power, or will Congress make a comeback? The results on October 8 will decide Haryana’s political future.
